It’s that time of year again. Spring has sprung and flowers are starting to appear. The sun is beginning to shine and warm things up.
How wonderful it is to be able to open our doors and windows again. That’s unless you live in Elstree or Edgware. That acrid smell of smouldering coming from the composting site at the bottom of Elstree Hill is back.
Having just returned from a wonderful holiday, I found my home tainted by the revolting smell. It really is most distressing.
Surely something has to be done about this. There was an enforced closure last year, to enable the operator to resolve similar issues. It is not acceptable to have our air conditions compromised in the name of recycling and business.
When will Reviva be forced to manage the site properly or closed down?
