Former grammar school students reminisced about their schooldays at a recent reunion.
Ex-pupils who attended Borehamwood Grammar School in the 1960s met former teachers and staff at the Cat and Fiddle Pub in Radlett to talk about the good old days and celebrate 50 years since they last met.
The grammar school was previously in Shenley Road and in 1970 changed its name to Nicholas Hawksmoor School, before later becoming the lower site for Hertswood Academy.
Organiser Nick Male said: "It is only now - fifty years later - that we begin to really look back and realise how fortunate we were.
"We had opportunities denied to our grandparents and parents and we are grateful.”
