Parents attended a meeting at Hertswood Academy to discuss plans for a new school building.
The building, which will be located at the academy's lower school site off Cowley Hill, will be used by all 1,400 pupils – including 200 sixth form students.
Construction is expected to begin next spring and take until April 2017, subject to plans being approved.
The design team was on hand at tonight’s meeting to talk parents and pupils through the proposals, along with an animated ‘walk through’ presentation.
A further exhibition for the public is to be held this Friday from 2pm, at 96 Shenley Road.
