Parents are bracing themselves for strike action which will see schools across Borehamwood closed tomorrow.
The National Union of Teachers is warning of widespread disruption in primary and secondary schools in the area due to an ongoing row about working conditions and pensions.
Hertswood Upper School, in Thrift Farm Lane, will close to Years 7, 8, 9 and 10.
However Years 11, 12 and 13 will be required to attend school as normal.
Yavneh College, in Hillside Avenue, Borehamwood, will be open as normal as up to six teachers plan to strike.
