Elstree Studios will become the new home of BBC One singing competition The Voice.
The series, famous for its revolving chairs, will move to the Shenley Road studios when it reaches its live finals stage.
The Voice, now in its third series, sees team coaches Will.i.am, Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson search for a new recording artists.
At the live finals, each of the last 12 contestants will sing live before they face the public vote.
Every week, each team will lose one singer and by the final, only one person from each team will remain and have the chance to be crowned the winner of The Voice 2014.
The live shows will be filmed at Elstree’s world-famous George Lucas Stage 1, with the first airing on BBC One on March 22.
Elstree most recently hosted the last ever series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, while it is also the home of Channel 5’s Big Brother.
