People are being called to donate their old coats as part of a winter campaign to raise money for charity.
Age UK Borehamwood is collecting people’s old coats as part of a national campaign to help older people through the winter.
According to the charity each winter extra 200 people die every day from the effects of cold weather.
All coats will be sold in the shop and money will go to schemes taking place during the cold season including a winter grants programme to deliver groceries to those trapped by bad weather.
Those interested in donating their coat can do so at the Age UK Borehamwood shop in Shenley Road.
