The Hertfordshire all-rounder Paul Barker will miss the rest of the season with a broken finger suffered during Radlett's four-wicket Home Counties Premier League defeat by Henley at Cobden Hill on Saturday.
The loss of left-arm spinner Barker and the continuing absence of all-rounder Gareth Berg on Middlesex duty has dealt a harsh blow to Radlett's hopes of winning the Home Counties Premier League for the first time.
Barker's second ball was driven back at him by the former Middlesex bowler Chad Keegan, smashing the little finger of his left hand, which required an operation at Barnet General Hospital.
Keegan completed a successful match by adding 85 off 88 balls to his earlier haul of five wickets and two run-outs. Radlett dropped a place to third, 15 points behind Oxford, the champions and new leaders.
Radlett visit Oxford for their last game of the season on Sept 6.
