Boreham Wood have boosted their squad ahead of the Christmas programme by signing former Arsenal youngster Anthony Jeffrey.
The 20-year-old former Wood loanee joined Wycombe Wanderers in January after leaving the Gunners, but made just one league start and ten substitute appearances for the club.
Manager Ian Allinson told the club's website: “It’s quite simple really, I’ve been chasing Anthony ever since he was released by Arsenal last winter but I lost out when he went to Wycombe Wanderers.
“I know exactly what I’m getting with him, after his successful loan spell with us last season, where he scored six goals in eight games. His pace is electric and will scares teams at our level.
“He will now need his game time carefully managed to get up to speed but he’ll be a real asset to us, a real pain to our opponents and it gives me tremendous options.”
