HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL has lost an appeal over planning permission for a gypsy site in Shenleybury.
In a report released yesterday, from Government inspector Claire Sherrat, the appeal was found in favour of gypsy Sarah Price who owns land adjacent to Shenleybury Cottages.
The appeal was launched after Hertsmere Borough Council turned down a retrospective planning permission request made by Ms Price.
Ms Price will now be allowed to have no more than two caravans on the site, only one being static.
More to follow.
