A postman had died after he collapsed in a street this morning.
The man, believed to be on his round, was in Alexandra Road, Well End, Borehamwood, at around 9.45am when he collapsed.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, including an air ambulance, but paramedics were unable to save him.
A nurse, who was reportedly driving by, is believed to have been first at the scene. Police closed Alexandra Road while the incident was ongoing.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
A police spokeswoman said: “The man has sadly died and his next of kin have been informed. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
