Landlords keen to help people struggling with finding somewhere to live can attend an information session.

During the event, people who own any kind of property will be given the chance to find out about the pros and cons of leasing their homes to Hertsmere Borough Council.

Under the Hertsmere Homes scheme, launched in partnership with Genesis, landlords can lease their properties for three to five years.

The idea could help over 1800 people who are currently on the housing register in Hertsmere find an affordable home.

The event will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at the civic offices, in Elstree Way, Borehamwood, at 7.30pm.

People keen to attend should e-mail Rebecca Brennan on Rebecca.brennan@genesisha.org.uk or phone 0208 900 4800 before Friday, November 23.
